The TE Connectivity 1546307-2 is a 2-circuit Buchanan series barrier strip, the smallest position count in this family. It uses a 0.375" (9.53mm) pitch between terminals — wide enough to handle 12 AWG wire without crowding the adjacent connection. Rated 20A at 300V, it carries moderate panel power in a compact footprint. The dual-wall barrier between terminals provides physical isolation that reduces the chance of accidental bridging during wiring or service.
Termination and wire handling
Accepts 12-22 AWG solid or stranded wire. The closed bottom means the screw threads are blind — no through-hole access below the strip, which keeps debris out of the enclosure interior.
This strip mounts to a chassis or panel using the integral flange — not DIN-rail, not PCB. The flange provides two bolt-down points that take the mechanical load off the screw terminals. Black housing is the standard color across the Buchanan series.
