This is the shell only — the 487526-4 is a 5-position, single-row FFC receptacle housing. You need to order the mating crimp contacts separately; they are not included in the package.
FFC thickness window and latch lock retention
The housing accepts FFC cables between 0.05 mm and 0.13 mm thick — verify your cable's stack-up before committing the BOM. For a field-service technician: the latch is a single-action lock — no secondary TPA or screw. Mate and pull to confirm the latch has engaged; a loose latch means the FFC can back out over time.

The base product number is 487526 — the -4 suffix indicates the specific circuit count and color. If you need a different position count, the series shares the same pitch and contact system.
