Latch lock keeps the FFC seated under vibration
The latch lock feature provides positive retention once the FFC is inserted — in a panel or enclosure subject to shock or vibration, this prevents the flex circuit from backing out of the housing. The housing accepts FFC thickness from 0.05mm to 0.08mm; the latch engages over the flex tail, not the conductor, so the lock force is consistent across the thickness range.
