TNC Jack for LMR-195 — 50 Ohm, Bulkhead Mount
The 031-6824: It's trimmed specifically for LMR-195 cable — the dielectric diameter and braid lay-up match the ferrule and crimp dimensions. The threaded coupling gives a vibration-resistant mate, and the bulkhead front-side nut mounting lets you fix it to a panel from the outside, which is handy when the back side is already wired. This is a kit: you get the connector body, a crimp ferrule, a lockwasher, and a hex nut. No need to source those separately. The contact termination is solder, the shield termination is crimp. The 500-cycle mating life is enough for field-service connections where the connector isn't cycled daily — think antenna feeds, base station jumpers, or test points that get swapped during maintenance.
At 6 GHz the VSWR stays controlled — the PTFE dielectric and gold-over-beryllium copper centre contact keep losses predictable. If your signal runs below 6 GHz, this jack works; if you need to push past 6 GHz, you're outside its rated range and should look at a higher-frequency TNC variant. The LMR-195 cable group is the key fit constraint. The ferrule and crimp dimensions in this kit are cut for that cable — using a different cable will change the impedance and the crimp won't grab the braid properly. Stick with LMR-195 for a clean 50 Ohm build. The bulkhead front-side nut mount means the connector installs from the outside of the panel. That's useful when the panel is already populated on the inside. The lockwasher and nut are included, so you have the full mounting kit in one bag.
