The 65801-041LF is a 12-position FFC/FPC receptacle from the Clincher™ series by Amphenol ICC (FCI). The ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) flip lock secures the cable without forcing contacts into the flex pads, reducing wear on the cable end. The 30 µinch gold over nickel contact finish supports 100 mating cycles minimum — enough for repeated field service or test-fixture connections without fretting corrosion.
Cable Fit and Termination — Notched FFC, 0.20mm Thick
This receptacle accepts FFC or FPC cable with a notched end type, 0.20mm thickness. The IDC termination pierces the cable insulation in one operation; the flip lock then clamps the cable against the contacts without a secondary latch. The housing is free-hanging (in-line) with solder retention features — no board-mount footprint, so it connects cable-to-cable or cable-to-panel via the mating header. The blue housing and black actuator colour code the connector at a glance.
