Terminal Block for PCB Mounting
The 282834-6: It uses a screw-driven rising cage clamp to secure wires from 16 AWG down to 30 AWG, with the wire entry oriented horizontally to the board.
Screw Termination and Wire Range
The rising cage clamp — brass with nickel plating — pulls the wire against a current bar when the M1.6 screw is tightened to 0.2 Nm (1.7 lb-in). The clamp accepts solid or stranded wire from 16 to 30 AWG, and the screw is steel with a stainless finish for corrosion resistance. The housing is polyamide (PA66), and the contact material is brass with tin plating.
